" licking Electric Frogs" is an evening event organized by the cultural fanzine Waste Paper and which will take place Sunday, November 22 at the 'Orange Rock Cafè (Via N. Sauro, Pescara).

The event has as its main theme Cyberpunk , current underground counterculture was born in the 80s by the lively mind of William Gibson and Bruce Sterling, who wrote the poetic-political manifesto " Manifesto of the new fiction."

Cyberpunk ultimately is man's relationship with technology, all with a psychedelic approach and a serious political and social.

This touches on various areas of current interest such as the cinema (remember " Blade Runner" by Ridley Scott), literature (for example, "The hunter of androids "by Philip K. Dick), comics (the best known is " Akira" by Katsuhiro Otomo) and music (among others, the American group Nine Inch Nails).

The evening will be developed cross three phases: an informative discussion that will have as speakers and writers Maximiliano Sanvitale Marco Taddei, the film "Tetsuo " by Shinya Tsukamoto and a nice DJ Set Theme by the group "The Soundbusters" everything will be accompanied by artistic performances, installations, video projections and exhibitions.
